Enumerations

These enumerations are available for use with the RMCLink COM Component in order to improve program readability.

NOTE: VBScript and JScript do not support using enumerated constants, and therefore you will have to manually type in the numbers instead of the constant names for those languages.

 

Constants70

Miscellaneous constants for use when communicating with the RMC70. These are typically used when computing file, element, of count parameters in read or write methods.

Constants150

Miscellaneous constants for use when communicating with the RMC150. These are typically used when computing file, element, of count parameters in read or write methods.

Constants200

Miscellaneous constants for use when communicating with the RMC200. These are typically used when computing file, element, of count parameters in read or write methods.

Constants100

Miscellaneous constants for use when communicating with the RMC100. These are typically used when computing file, element, of count parameters in read or write methods.

DeviceType

Constants used by RMCLinkServer.CreateEthernetLink,  RMCLinkServer.CreateSerialLink and RMCLinkServer.CreateUSBLink to select which type of controller will be connected to the link.

FileNumber70

File numbers used when communicating with the RMC70. These are often used as the file parameter in read and write methods.

FileNumber150

File numbers used when communicating with the RMC150. These are often used as the file parameter in read and write methods.

FileNumber200

File numbers used when communicating with the RMC200. These are often used as the file parameter in read and write methods.

FileNumber100

File numbers used when communicating with the RMC100. These are often used as the file parameter in read and write methods.

PingType

Constants are used to select whether the RMCLink.IsConnected method will try pinging the device before returning to verify that the link is still connected.

RMCLinkError

Error values for the COM exceptions that can be thrown by the RMCLink COM component.
