Description

The Target Torque Scale parameter applies to EtherCAT drives in CST mode. This parameter is used together with the Torque at 100% Output parameter to convert the Control Output to the Final Output.

The Torque at 100% Output and Torque Scale work together as follows:

To determine the Target Torque Scale:

  1. Determine the Torque at 100% Output. The Torque at 100% Output is the torque that the drive should apply when the Control Output signal is 100%. Consult the SubDevice documentation for this information.

  2. Consult the manufacturer documentation for details on how to scale the torque in units of Torque at 100% Output to units of Counts.
