Serial Port Settings Page

To access the Serial Port Settings page:
In the Project pane, expand the Modules folder, double-click the module the contains the serial communication and click Serial.

Use this page to configure the serial communications for the RMC75S.

Note:
All the settings on this page must match the settings of the device the RMC75S is communicating with.

RS-232/485 Serial Port Settings

Protocol Settings

Protocol:

DF1 Full-Duplex, DF1 Half-Duplex, Modbus/RTU, Mitsubishi Bidirectional Protocol

Address:

Address of the device the RMC75S is communicating with.

This number is important for Half-Duplex DF1 and Modbus/RTU. Make sure the master controller's address is set to the same value.

Serial Port Settings

Line Driver:	RS-232 or RS-485
Baud Rate:	The speed of communication.
Advanced:	See the Advanced RS-232 or Advanced RS-485 topic.

RS-232 Monitor Port Settings

This section lists the settings of port 0 (the Monitor port), which is used for communication with RMCTools. Any device that matches the settings of this port can also communicate with the RMC via this port.
