Hands-on, Instructor-Led Internet Training

Delta provides 2-day, 4 hour/day Live Online Training Courses that are fully interactive with an actual Delta RMC motion controller for each student (accessed via Internet). The hands-on, instructor-led training covers setup, tuning, programming and diagnostics of RMC motion controllers for closed loop position and velocity control through a series of lessons and lab exercises.

Course Material, Lab Sessions, and Structure

The class consists of technical training on the RMC70, RMC150, RMC200, or RMC100 motion controllers. Each eight-hour class will be spread over two consecutive days, and includes labs and breaks.

• Times are typically 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM Pacific Time. The times and content can be modified to accommodate special situations.

• Typical topics include the setup, tuning, programming, and diagnostics of an RMC controller. Customized courses can be developed based on specific customer requests.

• Lab manuals and guides will be mailed to attendees prior to sessions.

Delivery Method and Participant Requirements

Free Microsoft software and a standard telephone connection or microphone and speakers is used to deliver the training session.

All participants must verify that they have a working high-speed internet connection, can connect to an RMC provided for the training, and connect to the GoToMeeting session before the scheduled training begins. Connection instructions and the required software will be provided by Delta when the participant registers for the class.

Focused, Hands-on Training

Delta Motion’s training courses focus on learning the information you need for using the motion controllers in real-life situations, with plenty of exercises for hands-on learning. Trainings can be conducted at our training facility or on-site at your location. For other options, see Custom Trainings.

RMCTools Technical Training - 2 Day Course

Designed for beginners, this course will teach you the basics of using RMC motion controllers, providing enough information to begin using the RMC in a real application.

• 8 hours per day and includes lunch
• RMCTools and RMC70/RMC150/RMC200
  (RMCWin and RMC100 are available by special request)

Advanced Technical Training - 3 Day Course

The class features in-depth topics and includes many break-out sessions with hands-on exercises with real equipment.

Prerequisite includes attendance of a Basic Training.

At Any Location, On Any Topic

Customized courses can be developed based on specific customer requests. Delta is happy to develop custom training courses that are tailored to your specific needs.

Typical requests are for machine-specific training, or training on certain advanced topics, such as advanced tuning. Or you may have a new application coming up, and need some pointers on specific topics.

Delta holds many custom trainings. Often these are at the customer’s facility, but can also be held at Delta or some other venue. If held at Delta, the full range of Delta’s equipment is available for great hands-on experience.
