May 30, 2014 — Battle Ground, WA — Delta Computer Systems, Inc. announces an enhanced position tracking command in special applications where precise position control of linear or rotary motion control is required.
The tracking command continuously tracks a specified signal. Limits for velocity, acceleration, positive and negative travel limits are key part of the command set up and each can have great value in highly dynamic systems. A deadband option rejects minor noise on the signal, resulting in steady motion. For less complex, more linear gearing relationships and for following a reference input, Delta already offers a Gear Absolute command.

"Delta customers want precision no matter if the master register parameter is a joystick function or comes from a complex motion or curve profile," stated Steve Nylund, Delta’s CEO. "This specialized feature can deliver precision in dynamic high performance multi-axis applications." Nylund added.
The high performance motion control products that Delta designs, manufactures and markets are used worldwide for hydraulic, pneumatic and electric closed-loop control in a wide array of single and multi-axis applications, including testing, food, energy, automotive, entertainment, plastics, materials, aerospace, metals, forest products and others.
