Delta Motion Controllers add Feedback Switching

March 25, 2013 — Battle Ground, WA — Delta Computer Systems, Inc. announces the addition of feedback switching to Delta’s RMC75 and RMC150 Motion Controllers.

Feedback switching is especially useful when a wide measurement range necessitates multiple sensors in order to get the needed resolution within various ranges. The RMC motion controller can switch between feedback sensors “on the fly" in both position and pressure control applications. Axes defined for feedback switching use a variable rather than a physical input, allowing flexibility in assigning feedback inputs.

Example applications include testing pressure over several different ranges in the Oil and Gas industry, and load cell testing of weigh scales in the Aerospace and Automotive industries.
