Delta's new VC2100-HS Voltage-to-Current Converter operates at 15kHz

The new VC2100-HS Voltage-to-Current Converter from Delta Computer Systems, Inc., provides up to +/-200mA with a 15kHz response for an expanded range of applications including motion control and functional performance testing.

The two-channel VC2100-HS transforms +/-10V signals into bipolar current signals capable of driving hydraulic servo valves or similar loads. Full-scale output current is individually field settable from +/-10mA to +/-100mA in 10mA steps providing a convenient way to match valve requirements, limit maximum current, or set optimum working ranges. The two channels can be operated in parallel for a maximum of +/-200mA of output current per module.

The VC2100-HS complements Delta's lower speed converters, which are primarily used to interface Delta's motion controllers to servo valves. "The VC2100-HS was developed in response to specific customer requirements, and will allow Delta to help existing and new customers as they improve performance and quality of their machines and systems" said Delta CEO, Steve Nylund.
