Sean O’Banion Joins as Applications Engineer

August 14, 2020 – Battle Ground, WA. – Delta Computer Systems, Inc. is pleased to announce the addition of Sean O’Banion to the Applications Engineering team. Delta designs and manufactures the RMC family of motion controllers and the powerful yet easy-to-use RMCTools software for setup, programming, and diagnostics. Sean holds a BSEE degree from WSU Vancouver, as well as AA and AS degrees from Clark College. His focused area of study was on embedded systems, field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs), and renewable energy, which provide an excellent background to his role supporting Delta customers using RMC motion controllers. A self-described “fixer” in his free time, Sean enjoys repairing or tinkering with motorcycles, snowboards, electronics; or, as he puts it, “finding ways to go faster.”

Delta’s CEO Steve Nylund says, “Delta is pleased to find and recruit a locally-educated engineer to this important role. Delta is committed to providing best-in-class industrial hydraulic motion controllers, and excellent customer support both before, during, and after the sale.” Continues Nylund, “Skilled and dedicated engineers with genuine concern for the customer have been a cornerstone of Delta’s success during our nearly 40-year history.”
